What is the Career Kickstarter Event?

Career Kickstarter is an in-person experience designed to help teens and young adults explore real-world career paths and build leadership skills that are transferable to different areas of life. Each session highlights different industries, and this one will focus on careers connected to and inspired by sports — from athletic performance and media to business and leadership.

When and where is the event?

🗓 Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025 🕔 Time: Workshop begins at 5:00 PM 📍 Location: Gas South Arena — 6400 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Duluth, GA 30097 🎟 Bonus: After the workshop, students can attend the Atlanta Gladiators game with access to a private suite. (Game starts at 7:10 PM)

Who is this event for?

This event is designed for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are student-athletes or team leaders. It’s especially for students who want to better understand career opportunities and learn how to lead themselves and their teammates more effectively.

Is there a cost to attend?

No. The event is completely free for all selected students.

Is space limited?

Yes. We are capping the event at 16 students to allow for more personal engagement.

Will food be provided?

Yes. Light refreshments and snacks will be served during the workshop, and food/dinner will be available during the game.
